Computer Network Support Specialist

Job brief

DYPROCS is searching a Computer Network Support Specialist for a USA based employer to join the company as a full-time permanent employee and relocate at the employer's location to the U.S.A.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), cloud networks, servers, and other data communications networks. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption. This position requires clear communication internally and externally, strong organizational skills, resiliency, and a solution focused mindset!



Responsibilities:

        Monitor and maintain computer networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

        Provide technical support for network-related issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting.

        Install, configure, and upgrade network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

        Assist in the implementation and maintenance of network security protocols.

        Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

        Collaborate with other IT staff to design and implement network solutions.

        Conduct regular network assessments and performance evaluations.

        Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network support and management.

 

Proficiency & Skills:

        Must have 3+ years of work experience in network support or a related technical role.

        Familiarity with networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and tools.

        Experience with troubleshooting network hardware and software issues.

        Knowledge of network security principles and practices.

        Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.

        Experience with network monitoring tools and software.

        Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies.

        Configure wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment.

        Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.

        Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.

        Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

        Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

        Soft skills required - strong drive, persistence, consistency, organization, time management, written and verbal communication.

        Flexible mindset focused on delivering quality deliverables on tight deadlines.

        Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

        Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

        Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.

 

Education:

        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Salary:

        Will be determined based on the experience & knowledge

 

Must To:

        Selected candidate must relocate to U.S.A after completing all U.S.A visa requirements

        Selected candidate must perform day to day job duties physically.
