DYPROCS is searching a Health and Safety Engineers for a USA based employer to join the company as a full-time permanent employee and relocate at the employer's location to the U.S.A.
The ideal candidate will be
responsible for promoting worksite or product safety by applying knowledge of
industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health
and safety laws. Includes industrial product safety engineers. This position requires clear communication internally and externally,
strong organizational skills, resiliency, and a solution focused mindset!
Responsibilities:

Risk
Assessment: Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
·
Policy
Development: Develop and implement health and safety policies
and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
·
Training: Design and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels
to promote awareness and compliance.
·
Compliance
Monitoring: Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other
relevant health and safety legislation.
·
Incident
Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents and incidents,
documenting findings and recommending preventive measures.
·
Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and
compliance audits, and report findings to management.
·
Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to foster a culture of safety and
ensure the integration of safety practices into operations.
·
Emergency
Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans,
conducting drills and training as necessary.
Proficiency &
Skills:
·
Must have 3+ years of work experience in health and safety engineering or a related field.
·
Must have extensive experience and knowledge
specifically in safety management software.
·
Strong
understanding of health and safety regulations, risk management practices, and
safety engineering principles.
·
Certifications:
Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are a plus.
·
Strong
attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
·
This
position may require occasional travel to various sites and the ability to work
in different environmental conditions.
·
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and
principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints,
drawings, and models.
·
Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the
practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes
applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and
production of various goods and services.

Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic,
algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
·
Strong
leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Education:
·
Bachelor’s
degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science,
or related field.
