Job brief

DYPROCS is searching Petroleum Engineers for a USA based employer to join the company as a full-time permanent employee and relocate at the employer's location to the U.S.A.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for devise methods to improve oil and gas extraction and production and determine the need for new or modified tool designs. Oversee drilling and offer technical advice. This position requires clear communication internally and externally, strong organizational skills, resiliency, and a solution focused mindset!

 

Responsibilities:

·         Reservoir Management: Analyze reservoir performance and develop strategies to optimize production and recovery.

·         Drilling Engineering: Design and oversee drilling programs, ensuring safety and efficiency.

·         Production Optimization: Implement enhanced oil recovery techniques and monitor production operations.

·         Data Analysis: Utilize simulation software and data analysis tools to evaluate field performance and develop models.

·         Project Management: Manage projects from conception through execution, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.

·         Collaboration: Work closely with geologists, environmental scientists, and other engineers to assess geological formations and develop extraction strategies.

·         Reporting: Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders, including management and regulatory bodies.

 

Proficiency & Skills:

·         Must have 3+ years of strong work experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on reservoir and drilling engineering.

·         Must have extensive experience and knowledge specifically in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, PETREL), drilling engineering tools, and production optimization techniques.

·         Professional Engineer (PE) license.

·         Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

·         Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.

·         Computers and Electronics - Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

·         Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

·         Economics and Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

·         Administrative - Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and workplace terminology.

·         Law and Government - Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.

·         Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

·         Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

·         Soft skills required - strong drive, persistence, consistency, organization, time management, written and verbal communication.

·         Flexible mindset focused on delivering quality deliverables on tight deadlines.

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

·         Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

·         Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.

 

Education:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

·         Will be determined based on the experience & knowledge

 

Must To:

·         Selected candidate must relocate to U.S.A after completing all U.S.A visa requirements

·         Selected candidate must perform day to day job duties physically.
