Job brief

DYPROCS is searching a Database Architect for a USA based employer to join the company as a full-time permanent employee and relocate at the employer's location to the U.S.A.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for Design strategies for enterprise databases, data warehouse systems, and multidimensional networks. Set standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security. Model, design, and construct large relational databases or data warehouses. Create and optimize data models for warehouse infrastructure and workflow. Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality. This position requires clear communication internally and externally, strong organizational skills, resiliency, and a solution focused mindset!


Responsibilities:

        Design and develop database architectures that align with business objectives and technical requirements.

        Create and maintain data models, database schemas, and metadata repositories.

        Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to define data requirements and optimize data flows.

        Implement and manage database solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

        Establish and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures for security, backup, and disaster recovery.

        Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing databases and queries.

        Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in database architecture and management.

        Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

 

Proficiency & Skills:

        Must have 3+ years of work experience as a Database Architect or in a similar role.

        Familiarity with data warehousing and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Snowflake).

        Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and data lakes.

        Experience with database automation and DevOps practices.

        Certifications related to database architecture or management (e.g., AWS Certified Database Specialty, Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.

        Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

        Proficiency in data modeling techniques and database design principles.

        Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).

        Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.

        Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

        Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

        Soft skills required - strong drive, persistence, consistency, organization, time management, written and verbal communication.

        Flexible mindset focused on delivering quality deliverables on tight deadlines.

        Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

        Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

        Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.

 

Education:

        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

 

Salary:

        Will be determined based on the experience & knowledge

 

Must To:

        Selected candidate must relocate to U.S.A after completing all U.S.A visa requirements

        Selected candidate must perform day to day job duties physically.
