Fire-Prevention and Protection Engineers

Job brief

DYPROCS is searching Fire-Prevention and Protection Engineers for a USA based employer to join the company as a full-time permanent employee and relocate at the employer's location to the U.S.A.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for research causes of fires, determine fire protection methods, and design or recommend materials or equipment such as structural components or fire-detection equipment to assist organizations in safeguarding life and property against fire, explosion, and related hazards. This position requires clear communication internally and externally, strong organizational skills, resiliency, and a solution focused mindset!

 

Responsibilities:

·         Fire Safety Design: Develop and evaluate fire protection systems including alarms, sprinklers, and other safety measures.

·         Risk Assessment: Conduct fire risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions.

·         Code Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations and standards.

·         Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to staff on fire safety practices and emergency response procedures.

·         Incident Investigation: Investigate fire incidents to determine causes and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.

·         Documentation: Prepare and maintain fire safety documentation, reports, and records.

·         Collaboration: Work with architects, engineers, and safety personnel to integrate fire protection measures into building designs.

 

Proficiency & Skills:

·         Must have 3+ years of work experience in fire protection engineering or a related field.

·         Must have extensive experience and knowledge specifically in fire codes, standards (e.g., NFPA, IBC), and best practices.

·         Nice to have Professional Engineering (PE) license.

·         Public Safety and Security - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

·         Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

·         Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

·         Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

·         Soft skills required - strong drive, persistence, consistency, organization, time management, written and verbal communication.

·         Flexible mindset focused on delivering quality deliverables on tight deadlines.

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

·         Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

·         Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.

 

Education:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

 

Salary:

·         Will be determined based on the experience & knowledge

 

Must To:

·         Selected candidate must relocate to U.S.A after completing all U.S.A visa requirements

·         Selected candidate must perform day to day job duties physically.

·         Selected candidate will be given all benefits per the employer’s policy
