DYPROCS is searching a Database Administrator for a USA based employer to join the company as a full-time permanent employee and relocate at the employer's location to the U.S.A.
The ideal candidate
will be responsible for administering, testing, and implementing computer
databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Coordinate
changes to computer databases. Identify, investigate, and resolve database
performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability. May plan,
coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

Responsibilities:
●
Install,
configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server,
Oracle, or MySQL.
●
Monitor
database performance and optimize queries for efficiency and speed.
●
Implement
security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with data
protection regulations.
●
Conduct
regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to prevent data loss.
●
Troubleshoot
database issues and provide timely support to users and application teams.
●
Develop
and implement database policies, procedures, and standards.
●
Collaborate
with developers to design and optimize database schemas and structures.
●
Stay
updated on industry trends and best practices in database administration.
Proficiency & Skills:
●
Must have
3+ years of work experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
●
Experience
with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
●
Knowledge
of database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.
●
Familiarity
with performance tuning and monitoring tools.
●
Certifications
such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft Certified Database
Administrator are a plus.
●
Strong
knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
●
Proficiency
in SQL and database query optimization techniques.
●
Familiarity
with database backup and recovery techniques.
●
Mathematics
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their
applications.
●
Knowledge
of safety regulations and best practices.
●
Strong
leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
inspire and motivate a diverse team.
●

Education:
●
Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
